Specialist recruitment for financial institutions
The people your financial business runs on. Found properly.
Executive, engineering, commercial, compliance and interim hiring across African financial services. Every CV is read against your brief and put in front of a person before it reaches you — so the shortlist you get is one you can act on.
Hiring is what we do most of. We orchestrate five other domains too — infrastructure, technology, compliance, capital and market entry.

Recruitment · Start here
Two front doors. Pick yours.
Whether you are filling a role or looking for your next one, this is the way in. No engagement to sign, no process to navigate — tell us what you need and a person picks it up.
How our hiring works
A shortlist with the reasoning attached.
Most agencies send you CVs and leave you to work out why. We send you the evidence behind each one — what matches your brief, what doesn’t, and what to ask about.
Start a role with usYou send the brief
A job description or a conversation. We pull out what a candidate actually needs — the essentials, the desirables, and what can be taught on the job.
Every CV is read against it
Not keyword-matched. Each one is assessed against your requirements, with the evidence for every claim pointed back to the CV it came from.
Who someone is stays out of the judgement
Name, gender, age, nationality, marital status, religion, address and photographs are excluded when a CV is assessed. The shortlist reflects the work, not the person's background.
A person decides — always
The scoring is advisory and never final. A recruiter reviews the evidence, the gaps and the things worth probing at interview before any name reaches you.
You get a shortlist you can act on
Each profile carries work history, qualifications, salary expectation and notice period, alongside why they were put forward and where the gaps are.
Why Troven
We don’t sell software licences or consulting hours.
We solve business problems. Whether you need one capability or an entire operating model, we know who should be involved and when.
Independent by design
We don't resell software or take vendor commissions. Recommendations are technology-agnostic because nothing about our model depends on which provider you pick.
100+ years of combined experience
Operators who have built, launched and regulated financial products across payments, banking, fintech infrastructure and market expansion.
An ecosystem, not a directory
Hundreds of trusted specialists, infrastructure providers, operators and advisors we have worked with — and can vouch for at your stage.
Business first, technology second
Every engagement starts with the commercial objective. The stack, the hires and the licences follow from it, not the other way round.
Pan-African market depth
Regulatory routes, local partners and commercial realities across Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda and Francophone Africa.
A single point of coordination
One relationship accountable for the whole picture, instead of twenty vendor relationships you have to hold together yourself.
The problem
Building financial products is unnecessarily complicated.
Each of these is a separate search, a separate negotiation, a separate relationship to manage. Finding them independently costs months. Choosing incorrectly costs years.
